Women's Health in the workplace

Evidence from the Women's Health Strategy for England has shown that only 35% of women feel comfortable talking about their health concerns at work. And only 50% feel that their workplace is supportive of their health needs. The study also found that 76% of women who have a health condition or disability feel stressed about that condition and 67% said it had impacted their mental health.  The study also found that:

  • 26% said it impacted their earnings

  • 25% said it affected their opportunities for promotion

  • 22% said it meant they stopped work earlier than they had planned

Our women's health courses are created by practising medical professionals and specifically aimed at education within the workplace.  The content is created for all genders and we focus on supporting and developing understanding of common women's health issues and how those issues can impact women at work.

We understand that companies want courses aligned with your core values as a business. We are happy to work with you to ensure that the courses we build provide the following benefits to your team

  • Knowledge, understanding and awareness of common women’s health conditions with the aim of increased empathy for colleagues who are experiencing the health conditions we cover

  • Raises awareness of health conditions for women who could be unaware they have a condition. Increased awareness can reduce risk through support, prevention and early treatment. This is also extremely useful for partners  or family members.

  • Signposting to any of your company policies and support so that anyone suffering can get the help they need.

  • Help you provide lifelong learning for your team and giving them a level of training not available in most workplaces.

  • Help ensure your workplace is inclusive and equal, recognising that both your team and their family members may experience the conditions we are covering.

Because the courses are created by practicing medical professionals, you can reassure your team that they are getting the most up to date medical information that follows guidelines set out by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. We also only offer proven information, not advice or opinions. This ensures our courses are not biased towards specific treatment  ideas or medical approaches.
